Das ist doch ein vernünftiger Preis, ich würde das so kaufen

Schnäppsche...
Und wegen den 2 Jahren würde ich mir keine Sorgen machen wenn die Reifen vernünftig gelagert waren (nicht auf der Lauffläche).

Hello everyone, I hope you can help me.
My location: South-Eastern Europe.
Car ordered: september: 2022. ETA and delivery: 10 January, 2023
My problem: rims for >>AWD<< Mazda CX-30 ( X186 MT GTPLUS LU)
I will need additional set of new Mazda rims for my winter tyres.
My Mazda dealership offered me three types of Mazda 16' rims. All models 215/65/ 16' with sensors for 1370 EUR. (rims only - no tyres)
I was about to order when I found out on other forums that 16` rims are no longer (since 2022) supported or available for AWD CX-30 models. (Something about beefed calipers and breaking disk distance.)
I communicated this information with my Mazda dealership. They checked and confirmed back to me that 16' rims for AWD CX-30 are no longer supported or available. For FWD CX-30, 16' rims are normally supported and available. They apologized and commented that they had no idea about this information.Today I received updated offer for Mazda 17' rims, with a note: "no limitation mark for AWD" .
215/60/17 ' with sensors for 1650 EUR. Piano black or silver.
I have no idea how to proceed. I have no idea if those 17' Mazda rims are 2022 approved or their catalog or system is not updated or whatever. I have No idea about the offsets or any other specification. Also If I should be worried at all.
My questions? If somehow I decide to get those 17' (for 1650eur!) are they OK per latest production specifications?
Also whats the point? Can I (or should I) use my original 18' rims and change my summer tyres with winter tyres, only. All suggestions are welcomed.
Thank you! -
Hello,
it would make sense to have the winter tires on their own rims. This actually saves time and money and the rims / tires are spared from frequent remounting.
Greetings Tomilu

Yes, was thinking about the same. Its more practical than economical decision.
I received additional information for 17' for AWD CX-30 .
6,5 x 17'', (45 mm) design 73A, glossy black
215/60 R17 96H.
6,5 x 17', (45 mm) design 73, Silver

I have chosen for me the solution to use all-weather tires (Michelin Crossclimate) on the original Mazda 18 inch rims.
Would this not be an option for you?

Excellent database with very detailed technical specifications.
I appreciate this very much, thank you!
Regarding your all-weather tires (Michelin Cross climate) on the original Mazda 18 inch rims.
Do you use Michelin Cross Climate setup for the entire year?
Could you share your experience and tire (MCC1 or latest MCC2?) model?I live in a region with average temperature from -5C in January to 35C in July. Mostly (95%) urban driving, very little dirt-road and some snow, nothing extreme.
Thanks again! -
All about informations to the allwether-Tyres read in Ganzjahresreifen für den CX30 from page N° 17 and further.

About my experience and technical informations (also special for the Michelin CrossClimate for SUV)
look there: Test für Ganzjahresreifen and also Allwetter-Reifen Test 2021 and the further posts in this thread
I live in the middle of Germany with an equally hilly landscape. Hardly any snow and the temperatures in winter also between +5 and -5 degrees. So far, no significant problems with the tires I had. Even in summer at 30 ° degrees let the drive quite well. Since I only drive a maximum of 10000km a year, I immediately decided against the constant tire change summer / winter.

.Because the wider a tire is, the more problems there are with straight-line stability or the aligning torque.
The Mazda specification is far too lax. I now drive my series 18-incher with 2.6 bar all around.
Despite this, there may still be products that do not "fit" on a particular model. So I think it's good that user recommendations should be listened to in forums rather than some tire tests.
I currently have the "test winner" Michelin CrossClimate SUV mounted in size 215/55 R18.
Thanks again for your detailed explanations.
My CX-30 AWD will arrive with rims and summer tires size - 215/55 R18.
I will use Michelin CrossClimate 2 for C-30 AWD - model 2022 . I can see the features (load, speed, etc) but I cant identify which one is better.
1. 215/55 R18 95H TL CROSSCLIMATE 2 MI2. 215/55 R18 99V XL TL CROSSCLIMATE 2 MI
Also, can I (should I) play with larger width or height values?
Thanks!
